Service Description

Our monthly Screen Acting Classes Taster Evening is a dedicated introduction to Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting. Held on the last Wednesday of each month, this session gives you the chance to step into the room, experience our approach to screen performance, and meet the team behind WAoSA. It’s more than just a trial class. It’s a conversation. We get to know you, your goals, and where you’re at — and you get to see how we train actors for film and television in North East Wales. If you’re serious about acting for screen, this is where it starts.

Cancellation Policy

Booking & Payment All Adult Taster Sessions must be booked in advance via our website. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come basis. Purpose of the Session This session is an introduction to WAoSA’s approach to professional screen acting training. It includes practical on-camera work and a conversation about your experience, goals, and suitability for ongoing training. The session is designed for actors considering structured, regular training. Cancellations & Transfers Taster bookings are non-refundable. If you provide at least 48 hours’ notice, we may transfer your booking to the following month’s session (subject to availability). Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session cannot be transferred. Arrival & Punctuality Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted once the session has begun, as this disrupts the structure and focus of the group. Placement & Ongoing Training Attendance at a taster session does not guarantee automatic placement in a weekly class. Following the session, we will advise on the most appropriate level or next step. WAoSA operates structured training groups, and our priority is ensuring the right fit for both the actor and the class environment. Conduct & Environment WAoSA maintains a focused, respectful, and professional training space. We reserve the right to refuse or remove individuals whose behaviour disrupts the session. Filming & Photography Sessions may be photographed or filmed for internal review or promotional purposes. Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to appear in any marketing material.
