Wrexham Cinematic Pathways
Wrexham Cinematic Pathways is a grassroots programme helping young people from underrepresented backgrounds step into the world of film and TV.
Wrexham Cinematic Pathways is a film training programme for young people in Wrexham who don’t usually get these kinds of chances. We work with NEETs, kids from working-class backgrounds, and those who’ve never even considered the creative industries as a real option.
Through hands-on workshops and proper film shoots, they get stuck into every part of the process — writing, directing, acting, sound, camera. It’s not about sitting in a classroom. It’s about learning by doing, with support from people working in the industry right now.

The aim is simple: to build confidence, open doors, and show that there is a place for them in film and TV — whether that’s on set, in the edit suite, or behind the camera.
This is just the start. We’ve got more projects coming, and more young people ready to step up.
We’re always looking for funders, mentors, or partners who believe in young talent. Get in touch.
