The Screen Actors' Showcase (Adults)

The WAoSA Summer Showcase is a celebration of the screen acting work developed by actors training at Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting.

This event gives our actors the opportunity to share scenes they’ve been developing in class — shaped through rehearsal, character work, and on-camera practice — in front of a supportive audience of friends, family, and invited industry guests.

The showcase will be presented in a relaxed but professional environment. It is not an audition, and performers are not expected to “sell” themselves. The focus is simply on sharing the work and giving a clear sense of the training and approach at Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting.

In the lead-up to the showcase, scenes are rehearsed and filmed using industry-standard equipment, giving actors experience working in a professional screen environment. The finished scenes are then presented on the big screen during the event, allowing audiences to see the work…
